Workshops
Bigger projects than this one ended up to be a success in the past, so I am sure that with your help this one will also be one.
Offering a tomato solves today’s hunger, showing how to grow tomatoes will finish with hunger in the world…or something like this…!
The reality is that fighting hunger in the world is not easy at all, but educating people, especially children, can be a great help. Education will help them to get a job in the future avoiding them to go through all the painful situations their parents went through.
This project intends to teach children and teenagers things like craftsmanship, different kind of trade o just to take them away from the streets (with what this means), showing them new ways.
The project wants to give them the possibility of choosing. Knowledge is always useful and it can help us to solve problems.
We have already contacted some professionals and craftsman’s who are keen on helping on the project once we’ll have the Cultural Centre open, or any other Centre. Until this happens I have started working with children telling them how funny the workshops will be and trying to transfer to them the good feeling about it, so they can’t wait to start.
How can you help?
If you have any small premises in the area of Bayahibe or Benedicto, we could use for free or for very low rent, this will help a lot.
For the time being, until we get premises, you can contribute bringing anything valid to do handicraft, scissors, coloured pencils, clay, whatever it comes to your mind it could be useful to do handicraft.
Here you have some of the pictures from the workshops we have at the moment.
Thank you!!!
